CIP is an extremely fast IP checker, it should resolve between 1500 and 2000 URLs per minute, which is much faster than any other IP verifier available for download. It works interactively with you to help keep your local 'hosts' file up to date. The 'hosts' file is used by your browser to locate URLs on the Internet. As the IP for each URL must be resolved before it can be accessed, having a local cache of IP addresses can save you considerable time when browsing online. CIP will make editing the 'hosts' file simple, and give you much more information than if you edited it by hand. This program does more than merely annotating URL/IP pairs: it verifies your data and records when the verification was completed. Program is compatible with all releases of Microsoft's kernel32.dll for Windows 95 - 98

The new version of MTUSpeed, MTUSpeed Pro V4, works with Windows 95 - NT. It includes a 'ping' utility (to discover the MTU you should use) as well as the ability to quickly edit your modem init strings. This programs enables you to change the appropriate Windows 95 registry settings to maximize your speed on downloads. Your computer and the servers on the Internet from which you request Web pages and files attempt to optimize the data packet sizes to prevent fragmentation during transmission. The Windows 95 default MTU (Maximum Transmission Unit) is 1500, but the MTU used by most Internet service providers is 576; this inconsistency can cause delays and retransmissions in your requested data. MTU-Speed is designed to increase your throughput, not your connection speed, but the program can still speed page and file downloads by as much as 200 percent just by keeping packet size aligned with the transfer unit size
Netvampire v. 3.01. This program is a fully automatic FTP and HTTP file downloader. It will start at the time you specified and make as many attempts to download the file as you tell it. This program starts with a list of URL's entered by the user. These are the level 1 web pages. Each of these pages is downloaded and parsed for HTML tags. The source for these documents in optionally saved to the hard disk. References to other web pages are added to the download list for the next level of operation. References to images/sounds/movie clips/zip files etc. are added to a second list of tag items to be downloaded. Once a particular level of web page parsing is completed, the WS downloads all the non HTML items and optionally stores them on the hard disk. This alternating action of parsing web pages and downloading found items continues until the maximum depth of recursion is reached ( the user specifies how many layers of links to follow )
