ClipPlus is an utility that enhances the Windows 95 ClipBoard. Whenever you use the standard windows features to Cut/Copy something in a windows program, windows copies the item to the ClipBoard. Only one 'Clip' can be stored in the clipboard at a time and all contents are lost whenever you shutdown windows. ClipPlus watches the clipboard and will add all new clips to a list that it maintains where it can be used again in the future. You can save your favorite or most commonly used clips for quick and easy use with any windows program
DragonLinux 9.07 megabytes
DragonLinux v0.75 -- DOS (also runs under Windows 95 - 98). If you have ever wanted to try out Linux but have been put off by the setup process, look no further. DragonLinux is a UMSDOS (Unix under MS-DOS) version of Linux which runs "from the box" if you install it in your C: drive (as most would). It literally will be running within seconds of installing the files (all seven files must be in the same directory -- preferably C:\Linux -- and then Dragon75.exe can be executed). While very small, DragonLinux includes full Internet/Intranet support. This program runs either under raw DOS or in the Windows DOS-mode (but not the Windows 3.1 DOS-mode) with FAT16 and FAT32 compatibility. As it runs on a minimal DOS platform, 386 owners can use it to access the Internet. It is also compatible with most Linux programs so you can add XWindows or another GUI (graphical user interface) front end to help hide the rather stark Unix-style commandline. Both StarDivision and Corel WordPerfect offer free Linux versions of their office-suite products so you can potentially use DragonLinux to run some very sophisticated (and free) programs. DragonLinux is designed to be a stepping stone from DOS - Windows to Linux and if you find it to your satisfaction you will probably want to get a fuller version of Linux. This 9.07 megabyte download comes in seven floppy-sized files. Note: It is a good idea to get the readme75.txt from the download page, as the actual zip-file, which contains the installation files, doesn`t contain instructions

Reveal 345 kilobytes
Windows 95. While present replacement shells (e.g. litestep and evwm) have traditionally allowed you to customise the look and actions of your desktop within a certain framework, Reveal let's you go further. Throw away the desktop metaphor completely and make your interface a pig sty... literally! Let the 'pigs' wander around in the muck, touch them and they squeal (perhaps their name); click on them and notepad (for example) opens. Now, there's probably no conceivable reason to do this, but you can. Reveal doesn't constrain you to use any particular interface elements (like a taskbar, wharf or desktop shortcuts). It isn't some template for you to slot in some tiles and icons. In fact, Reveal is founded upon the idea of an open dialogue between you and your computer. A means to specify exactly how you want your interface to behave

Normally Windows's Wordpad program will not allow you to take a peek inside a program; if you try you will be greeted with the warm, friendly message, 'Can not load executable files'. If you want to change the text of your favorite program or just see what's in it, and you're sick of seeing this message, this patch will remove this limitation from Wordpad. Your 'fixed' version of Wordpad will allow you to load executable files (EXE, DLL, etc.) and display their contents in the Wordpad window. You can then examine the program for cheat codes (common in games) and 'easter eggs' (hidden features or secrets in a program). You can also try to find out what an unknown installer program will install if you run it. You can even use Wordpad's Find feature to search for specific words or phrases
